I did something unusual one weekend and took the Metro Rail Train in Los Angeles to the LA Car Show at the Convention Center. A funny thing happen to me on the way that really got me thinking.
The train was about 70% full and a young black man boarded. He came on the train with a radio in hand. The radio was small but powerful and loud. Keep in mind that playing radio on the Metro Rail Line is prohibited but what did he care. His music was loud and annoying as everyone turned in his direction to give mean stares but no one said anything to him. We all just sat there and endured his music that he thought was so cool.
The lyrics we heard were the most obnoxious and vulgar language you can imagine. Now to many, this is nothing new and most people say so what, however the vile lyrics should not be dismissed and a sample is below. The exact wording is not correct but it doesn’t matter. I’m going off memory from several hours ago and the exact wording was actually more vulgar than my memory.
“This Bitc## I’m going to Fu## like a Dog until She Cums Like a Dog Until the Bitc## comes to Me”‘Nigg## (the N word) Fuc## you and that Bitc## You better watch out because my Dic# is the Biggest and my pockets are full of Dead Presidents” … bla bla bla Hey Nigg## (the N word) I get the Bitc# drunk then poke her with my foot long rod. All the Bitc# love me. The Hoe (Whore) down the street came to see me last night … said she I want to suck your Di##”
I kid you not, these are the lyrics as I remembered them on the train. My reason for presenting these vulgar lyrics is so you can get an idea of the poison that Satan is putting in our young children, teenagers and young adult.
The music was so vulgar yet the young teenager thought it was his duty to let everyone hear his music that he considers cool.
Romans 1:28 – And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
The depravity of this young man was off the chart. He didn’t even have the courtesy to put his headset / headphones on. He had no consideration for the people sitting around him because obviously, we all want to hear his vulgar music too, right?
He was totally hypnotized by the music that took the form of mind control. This mind control is used on millions of young people each day. The beat of the music hypnotizes while the vile words are melodically weaved into the beat and planted into young minds. These vile words penetrate the mind and the spirit to produce vulgar adults destine for hell and prison. That’s why Satan favorite weapon of this generation is Gangster Rap.
But here is the real danger. Satan has a powerful vehicle to pump poison lyrics to the masses. There are millions of young minds getting filled with this garbage from hell on an hourly basis. I purposely mentioned the vulgar lyrics to give you an idea of what the enemy is pumping in the heads of our young people and particularly kids from the inner city.
This poison will sear any good judgement of right and wrong. After a hundreds / thousands of hours of listening to those lyrics, you will not even recognize good any more. If you’re male, you will be prone to rape. You will be prone to stealing and hurting people without a second thought that it is wrong. Imagine pumping in vile words of hate, larceny, rebellion, destruction, incest, rape, murder all wrap up in the melody of rap music. Is it any wonder are jails are overcrowded?
But here is the scary part. Many of the young people on that train who all had headsets or headphones may have been listening to equally vile lyrics. The only difference in this case was that the young man was so brazen as to bring his radio on the train for all to hear. I’m fairly certain (being a black man who was raised in the inner city) that many of the young people on that train were listening to equally vile lyrics, given that you can hear this garbage from their headset if you ride the train frequent enough.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with RAP Music. Let me repeat, there is nothing wrong with listening to rap music. The problem is when the music contains poison lyrics of hate, destruction, rebellion, rape, thievery and murder.
The style of musical delivery …. Rock, Metal R&B, Soul, Rap, Dance, Electronic is irrelevant and dependent on the person’s preference in music. It’s the lyrics that the enemy weaves into the melody that does the damage. Obviously vulgar lyrics is Satan favorite tool to destroy a generation of young people who will grow up with a seared conscious not recognizing anymore the difference between right and wrong and destine for prison.
What I realize by sitting on that train and previous discussions that I had with young people at work, those vile lyrics are common rap lyrics. Not necessarily the lyrics you will hear on the radio because of FTC decency laws but music from the same Rap Artist (if you can call them that) with their explicit lyrics that the young people download and eagerly listen to.
There is no doubt that these rap artists are Satan Messengers who task it is to destroy innocent young minds. When I was a teenager, I could not imagine listening and singing lyrics like “You Fat Whore I’m going to Kill You” or something equally as vulgar. These words are common in explicit rap lyrics and explicit rap is mainstream music that not only affects inner city young minds but suburbia too. Actually, suburbia young kids are just as much into rap as inner-city kids, so for Satan it’s a win-win situation of mind poisoning.
Just imagine the kinds of adults we will have in the next generation. Adults who just assume run you over in their car and keep going. Adults who will rape young women at parties or even on the street. Adults who lie and cheat without a guilty conscious. Adult men who think all women want is there penis. Adults who think the only objective in life is to get money no matter who gets harmed. Whoops, sounds like our society today. I wonder where those ideas came from?
So parents, please pay attention to what your kids listen to. Don’t invite Satan into your children’s mind and soul. You are their protection because many kids don’t know any better. You are the guardian of their well- being and their spiritual development. Parents … be alert …be watchful … our enemy Satan roams the earth like a roaring lion seeking those he can devour
1 Peter 5:8 – Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
